Description
A formulation based on essential omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A and D, and ultrafiltered phospholipids.
It reduces excessive evaporation of the tear film induced by inflammatory states of the ocular surface thanks to the presence of liposomes (phospholipids), omega-3, and vitamin D.
Vitamin A and phospholipids are natural components of the tear film and, thanks to their antioxidant action, prevent damage induced by reactive oxygen species, promoting homeostasis and containment of the tear film, as well as controlling its evaporation.
Omega-3, vitamin D, and phospholipids improve the osmolarity of the tear film, preserving it from inflammatory states induced by excessive evaporation.
Thanks to its formulation, it is indicated:
- in all forms of evaporative dry eye to increase the stability of the lipid layer, reducing the evaporation of the aqueous phase of the tear film (due, for example, to prolonged computer use, reading, driving, use of medications, ocular allergies, contact lenses);
- as a pre-treatment for ocular surgery to achieve a better outcome in terms of recovery of the ocular surface's lipid integrity;
- in forms of dry eye due to reduced lipid secretion from the meibomian glands;
- in cases of dry eye due to mucin deficiency;
- in cases of worsening dry eye induced by the use of preserved eye drops.

Directions for use
Instill 1 drop of Visuevo into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times a day or as otherwise directed by your ophthalmologist.
- Hold the bottle directly under the cap and twist the cap to open the bottle.
- Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of each eye by gently pulling the lower eyelid downwards and looking upwards. Dispense the product by lightly squeezing the bottle;
- after use, close the bottle immediately.

Storage
Store at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C.
Shelf life when unopened: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 60 days.
