Features:
it uses the hemostatic power of calcium alginate, an extract of seaweed present in the form of insoluble crystalline fibers.
Alginate in dressings offers important peculiarities, such as the ability to:
- rapidly stop bleeding, promoting platelet aggregation and reducing coagulation time, following the release of calcium particles that exchange with the sodium particles of the exudate;
- quickly heal wounds, promoting defense against microorganisms and reducing the risk of possible dermatological complications;
