Description
CE Medical Device (Dir. 93/42/EEC) Class IIa.
Medical device with mechanical action indicated for the treatment of gastric reflux in order to reduce related symptoms such as: acid regurgitation, heartburn, gastric pyrosis during pregnancy, indigestion associated with reflux of gastric contents, cough, hoarseness and rhinopharyngeal inflammation. It can be used during continuous treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as primary prophylaxis of NSAID-induced gastropathy.
Ingredients
Alginic acid 365 mg, sodium alginate 300 mg, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, maltodextrin, sodium chloride, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, simethicone, hydrogenated vegetable fat, magnesium stearate, water; film coating: hydroxypropylcellulose.
Gluten-free.
How to use
Take at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking medication or other oral products to avoid interference with their absorption.
Swallow 1-2 tablets after meals with a little water. Wash hands before using the medical device. The duration of use depends on the evolution of symptoms; if necessary, it can be taken for prolonged periods.
Warnings
It is recommended to consult a doctor before using REFALGIN tablets in combination with medications or other oral products. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if you take 4 or more tablets a day for a prolonged period, especially if you follow a low-salt (sodium) diet. Keep out of reach of children.
The medical device is usually well tolerated because its mechanism of action is physical/mechanical and does not depend on systemic absorption. This medical device contains methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, which can cause delayed allergic reactions. If you experience any side effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Some components of the product may interact with the activity of drugs and other oral products, interfering with their absorption.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
