SCREEN CHECK TEST
Pulse oximeter

Description
In vitro diagnostic medical device CE 0482.
Measures oxygen saturation in the blood and heart rate of the human body from the finger. It non-invasively detects the actual content of oxyhemoglobin (HbO2) in arterial blood. It can also be used for pre- or post-sporting activity measurements (never during).
Read the warnings and instructions for use carefully.
Usable in a wide range of fields: home, hospital, anesthesiology operating rooms, pediatric and intensive care units, oxygen bars, social-healthcare assistance institutions and sports medicine. Also available in pharmacies.

Instructions for use
Press and release the button to turn on the device; press and hold the button for about one second. The oximeter shows a parameter setting interface. Press or hold the button to perform the corresponding operations. Hold to set an item or press to change an option or to change the display mode. Press means no more than 0.5 seconds, while press and hold means more than 0.5 seconds.
Insert a finger completely into the measuring parts of the oximeter, keep the nail surface upwards and release the clip, then press the power button to turn on the oximeter.
If the finger has not been fully inserted into the cavity, the measurement result may be inaccurate.
Do not vibrate the finger during measurement, make sure the body does not move. After the values have stabilized, read the measured values of oxygen saturation and pulse rate on the screen.
NOTE: the oximeter automatically turns off 10 seconds after the finger is removed.

Warnings
Do not attempt to service the oximeter unless you are a professional technician.
Only professionals with maintenance qualifications can perform the necessary internal maintenance.
Periodically change the contact position between the oximeter probe and the finger for measurement. Adjust the probe position before measurement and check the integrity of the skin, the blood circulation condition of the finger, and the finger position.
This product is not applicable for infant examination.
If the measured value exceeds the normal range, consult a doctor promptly, while being certain that the instrument is not malfunctioning.
Do not directly expose the eyes to the light-emitting components of the oximeter, as this may cause eye damage.
Do not expose the device to lint, dust, light (including sunlight), pets, pests or children, etc.

- the user suffers from hypotension, severe vascular atrophy, severe anemia or oxygen deficiency;
- the user is in sudden cardiac arrest or in a state of shock;
- a finger with nail polish or an artificial nail may cause incorrect pulse oxygen saturation readings.
Be aware of the effects of degraded sensors that can impair performance or cause other problems.
Do not self-diagnose or treat based on measurement results, but consult a doctor.
