Adjuvant treatment of reparative processes in atrophic and dystrophic states of the vaginal mucosa. Promotes healing in the post-partum period, in gynaecological surgery, in dystrophies resulting from chemotherapy and ionizing radiation. Treatment of vaginal dryness of various origins.
It exerts its activity thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid, a mucopolysaccharide abundantly distributed in multiple body tissues.
Hyaluronic acid, thanks to its ability to retain water, forms a film that hydrates, accelerates and improves the re-epithelialization and tissue repair process.

How to use
Wash hands before and after using the medical device.
Detach an ovule from the blister along the pre-cut line. Remove the ovule by pulling the two tabs of the blister. Hold the ovule on your fingertips. Assume a supine position and insert the ovule deep into the vagina.

Adults: use one ovule per day or as directed by a doctor, preferably in the evening before going to bed to prevent the product from leaking out. Avoid holding the vaginal ovule between your fingers for too long, as it may melt.
The duration of use depends on the evolution of symptoms. If necessary, the product can be used for prolonged periods, in any case after 30 days of continuous use, suspend treatment for one week.

Components
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt (5 mg), Centella asiatica lipophilic extract, calendula lipophilic extract, aloe vera lipophilic extract, melaleuca essential oil, semi-synthetic glycerides, BHT.

Warnings
The product is for vaginal use only.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not ingest.
The ovule dissolves once inserted into the vagina, therefore whitish and odorless discharge may occur.
In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, as no specific clinical studies have been carried out, consult your doctor before using the device.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product components.
No interactions with other products are known, therefore it is advisable to consult your doctor before using CICATRIDINA ovules in combination with other medical devices or drugs for vaginal use.
The use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products could give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case, or if other undesirable effects are found, interrupt the treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage
Store the medical device away from light and heat, preferably at a temperature between 4 °C and 25 °C. Avoid temperatures above 30 °C.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored. Do not use beyond the expiry date or if the package is open or damaged.
Validity in intact packaging: 36 months.
