Description

Properties
Folic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12:
Folic acid plays a role in the process of cell division: since it is involved as a co-factor in DNA formation, it comes into play every time a cell divides. This function is particularly relevant for rapidly regenerating tissues. Folate contributes to the normal synthesis of amino acids and to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy: this allows for proper fetal development. In particular, supplemental folic acid intake increases the maternal folate status. Folate contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, also supporting a physiological formation and maturation of blood cells. Folic acid also acts as a support for a normal function of the immune system and for a normal homocysteine metabolism. Homocysteine is a substance physiologically present in the body but whose accumulation can lead to various problems. Many studies report that conditions of high homocysteine blood concentration should be considered as a possible cardiovascular risk factor. Folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12, together with a healthy lifestyle and a varied diet, contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism.
EXTRAfolate-S:
It is the calcium salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid. It is an active form of folic acid that does not require any enzymatic transformation to be absorbed and has been shown to have greater stability and bioavailability. Folate taken during pregnancy contributes to the growth of maternal tissues. Folate also contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
Vitamin D3:
Contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus and plays a role in the process of cell division. Nosifol-D contains 5 mcg of vitamin D3, equal to 100% of the recommended daily allowance (NRV).
Zinc:
It is an essential component of a large number of enzymes in which it can act as a cofactor, constitute the catalytic site or play a structural role. Zinc helps maintain the health of bones, skin, hair and nails, as well as the proper functioning of the immune system. Zinc contributes to normal fertility and normal reproduction.

Directions for use
It is recommended to take 1 sachet per day, dissolving the content in half a glass of water.
