Description
NALKEVIT® MAMMA tablets are a food supplement based on Vitamins and Minerals, indicated in cases of reduced dietary intake or increased need for these elements. Folic Acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy and supports normal hematopoiesis. Folic acid, Iron, Magnesium, Niacin, Vitamins B2, B6, B12 and C contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin. Copper contributes to the normal transport of Iron in the body. Vitamin C increases Iron absorption. Folic Acid, Iron, Zinc and Vitamins B12 and D are involved in the cell division process. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilization of Calcium and Phosphorus. Calcium is involved in the process of cell division and specialization. Supplemental intake of Folic acid increases maternal folate status. A low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. The target population consists of women of childbearing age and the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of 400 mcg of Folic Acid for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
Directions for use
1 tablet daily, with water.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be considered as substitutes for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Product intended for adults. Due to the nature of the ingredients contained, the product may have a different appearance from batch to batch: this does not affect the quality of the product. The development of neural tube defects in the fetus is due to multiple factors and intervention on one of these factors may not have a beneficial effect. Store in a cool, dry place.
