Surgical face masks
for medical use - Type IIR
Description
Type IIR surgical face masks for medical use, non-reusable. Their use is recommended where it is not possible to maintain the minimum safe distance to prevent contagion:
- in the workplace;
- in healthcare and hospital settings;
- in crowded places or for public use.
Primarily used to create a barrier between the wearer's mouth and nose. Once used, disposable masks must be immediately disposed of in a tightly sealed plastic bag within the undifferentiated waste bin. The masks provide protection against the spread of influenza by both blocking respiratory secretion droplets emitted by sick people wearing them, and by preventing these droplets or splashes of secretions or other biological fluids from reaching the mucous membranes of the nose and mouth.
Components
Outer layer: polypropylene non-woven fabric 25 g/m2.
Filter: polypropylene melt-blown 25 g/m2.
Inner layer: polypropylene non-woven fabric 20 g/m2.
Technical characteristics
-Dimensions: 17.5 x 9.5 cm.
-Type: IIR, disposable/non-sterile.
-Filtration Standard: EN 14683: 2019+AC2019.
Instructions for use
1. Wash and sanitize hands.
2. Check for holes and tears.
3. Wear the mask with the correct side facing out (blue side out).
4. Secure the ear loops behind the ears until comfortable.
5. Press the nose bridge with your finger until it fits optimally.
6. Change mask every 2-3 hours.
7. Do not touch the outer surface.
8. Replace the mask as soon as it is damp.
9. Dispose of the used mask immediately in general waste.
10. Sanitize hands after use.
Warnings
If, during use, it becomes necessary to remove the mask, avoid contact with hands, nose, mouth and the outer surface of the mask, to prevent possible contagion. When discarding it, fold it with the outside facing inwards and dispose of it in general waste, sealing it inside a plastic bag. The mask is single-use, non-reusable or recyclable.
The mask is able to filter certain contaminants, but incorrect use can cause contagion and subsequent illness, up to death. Materials in direct contact with the skin may cause an allergic reaction in certain hypersensitive individuals.
Storage
Store in dark, dry and well-ventilated conditions, away from open flames and sources of pollution. Shelf life with intact packaging: 3 years.
Format
50 pieces.
