Description
Food supplement based on potassium and magnesium citrate useful for supplementing these nutrients in cases of reduced dietary intake or increased need.
Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism and electrolyte balance.
LITHOS PLUS contains zinc citrate as a source of zinc, which contributes to normal acid-base metabolism.
The technological tablet manufacturing process allows for the prolonged release of nutrients over time.

Ingredients
Tribasic potassium citrate monohydrate, anhydrous tribasic magnesium citrate; anti-caking agents: fatty acids, magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide, polyethylene glycol, talc; coating agents: hydroxypropyl cellulose, carnauba wax, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; zinc citrate trihydrate; bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose (cellulose gel).

Gluten-free.

Directions for use
Unless otherwise medically indicated, it is recommended to take 2 tablets a day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening, preferably on a full stomach, swallowing the tablet with a glass of water.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
LITHOS PLUS is contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or from conditions that may predispose to the onset of such plasma alterations (such as chronic renal failure and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus).
The concomitant use of LITHOS PLUS and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could lead to hyperkalemia. In this condition, it is advisable to monitor potassium levels. No interactions with other drugs are known.
Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as: abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea may be observed.
These symptoms can be alleviated by taking LITHOS PLUS on a full stomach. If these or other unwanted effects occur, it is advisable to contact your doctor.
The product could favor the alkalinization of urine.
