Description
Sterile product based on liposomes, vitamin A, vitamin E, and amino acids, preservative-free.
LACRISEK Plus Spray stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, regulating and correcting the lubrication of the ocular surface.
Vitamins A and E, known for their soothing and emollient properties, in synergy with liposomes (hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine), provide functional support to the lipid component present on the eyelid margin. Furthermore, vitamins A and E, as liposome stabilizers, contribute to improving ocular and periocular symptoms associated with inflammatory conditions of allergic and/or infectious origin.
The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride, and L-leucine, contained in the product, increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and can contribute to improving the protection of epithelia subjected to various types of stress.
The lipid component of the tear film is fundamental in containing the tear fluid, as well as controlling its evaporation.
The use of LACRISEK Plus Spray aids the functionality of the lipid secretions of the glands of the ocular adnexa (Meibomian, Zeiss, and Moll glands), contributing to the stabilization of the lipid component of the tear film.

Instructions for use
Apply 1-2 sprays of LACRISEK Plus Spray to the eye, preferably keeping the eyelids closed. It is recommended to apply LACRISEK Plus Spray 3-4 times a day.
In case of severe discomfort, LACRISEK Plus Spray can be applied more frequently.
In the presence of crusts and adherent secretions, it is advisable to perform adequate ocular and periocular hygiene using sterile medicated single-use wipes before applying 1-2 sprays per eye of LACRISEK Plus Spray.
Spray the product from a distance of 10 cm.

LACRISEK Plus Spray can also be used in the presence of cosmetics: in this case, apply only one spray from a greater distance (about 20 cm). For the first use, perform empty sprays until the first nebulization.
Keep the bottle in an upright position during dispensing.

Components
Retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), hydrogenated phospholipids, monobasic sodium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-leucine and purified water.

Warnings
Product for external ophthalmic use only.
To eliminate the risk of solution contamination, prevent the nebulizer from coming into contact with the eye or other objects.
To avoid injury to the ocular surface, prevent the nebulizer from coming into contact with the eye during instillation.
Small quantities of swallowed product will not cause any problems.
In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic drugs, consult a doctor.
Do not use the product if the bottle is damaged.
Keep the preparation out of sight and reach of children.
Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or other chemically closely related substances.
No undesirable effects are known after product administration. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor. After product application, a slight and temporary visual blur may occur.

Storage
Store at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C.
Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the single-dose container.
Do not disperse into the environment.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
