Description
Sterile product based on liposomes, vitamin A, vitamin E and amino acids without preservatives.
LACRISEK Free ophthalmic solution stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, regulates and corrects the lubrication of the ocular surface.
Vitamins A and E, known for their soothing and emollient properties, in synergy with liposomes (hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine), provide functional support to the lipid component present on the eyelid margin. Furthermore, vitamins A and E, as liposome stabilizers, help to improve ocular and periocular symptoms associated with inflammatory states of allergic and/or infectious origin.
The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine, contained in the product, increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and can contribute to improving the protection of epithelia subjected to various types of stress.
The lipid component of the tear film is fundamental in containing tear fluid, as well as controlling its evaporation.
The use of LACRISEK Free ophthalmic solution aids the functionality of the lipid secretions of the glands of the ocular adnexa (Meibomian, Zeiss and Moll glands), contributing to the stabilization of the lipid component of the tear film.
How to use
LACRISEK Free is instilled directly onto the ocular surface according to the following dosage regimen: instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 4 times a day or as needed or as advised by your doctor.
For first use, remove the plastic ring sealing the cap by pulling the side tab. Remove the cap.
Turn the bottle upside down over the eye and, using your index finger and thumb, apply increasing pressure to the sides until a drop comes out. As the solution in the bottle runs out, it may be necessary to apply more force.
Close the bottle with the cap.
Components
Retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), hydrogenated phospholipids, monobasic sodium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-leucine and purified water.
Warnings
Product for external ophthalmic use only.
To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, avoid the dropper coming into contact with the eye or other objects.
To avoid injury to the ocular surface, prevent the dropper from coming into contact with the eye during instillation.
As the solution in the bottle gradually runs out, more force will need to be applied to release the drop.
Close the bottle tightly after use.
In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic drugs, consult a doctor.
Do not use the product if the OSD bottle is damaged.
Keep the preparation out of sight and reach of children.
