Description
Sterile isotonic ophthalmic solution with hyaluronic acid sodium salt (FHA 1.0), Echinacea extract and amino acids.
Preservative-free.
The product consists of a preservative-free sterile ophthalmic solution containing hyaluronic acid and Echinacea extract, which aims to protect the corneal epithelium and help increase the biological defenses of the tear film through better stabilization and preservation of its characteristics.
Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that is part of numerous tissues in the body.
It has the property of adhering to the mucus of the ocular surface, protecting, moisturizing and lubricating it.
Due to its mucoadhesive characteristics, it remains on the eye surface for a long time and stabilizes the tear film.
Echinacea extract contains substances that have been shown to help maintain the immune defenses of the tear film and facilitate the repair processes of the ocular surface.
Echinacea extract is also characterized by its hyaluronidase inhibiting properties.
The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine, contained in the product, increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and can contribute to the improvement of the protection of epithelia subjected to stress of various kinds.
The absence of preservatives in the solution helps to increase the safety of use of the product and makes it suitable even for contact lens wearers.
Tear substitute useful for corneal protection and for increasing the natural defenses of the ocular surface, even in the presence of surgical or traumatic lesions.

Directions for use
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day, or as prescribed by a doctor.
The product can also be instilled into the eye when wearing contact lenses or on the inner surface of the contact lens before application.

Components
Main component: sodium hyaluronate 0.15% (FHA 1.0).
Other components: boric acid, disodium tetraborate decahydrate, Echinacea angustifolia D.C. hydroglycolic extract, sodium chloride, glycine, L-leucine, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-proline, water for injections.

Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or other chemically related substances.

Precautions and warnings
Close the bottle tightly after use.
To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, prevent the dropper from coming into contact with the eye or other objects.
Do not use in case of eye infection.
In case of administration of ophthalmic solutions for therapeutic purposes, consult a doctor.
Before use, check that the product is intact.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the bottle.
Do not store above 25°C.
The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
Keep the preparation out of the reach of children.

Side effects
No undesirable effects have been reported after using the product.
In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor.
After application of the product, slight and temporary blurred vision may result.
