Purilon Gel

Description
Purilon is a gentle hydrogel made from natural ingredients, with no additives. It is used for wounds that require effective and gentle debridement of necrotic tissue, thus promoting faster healing.
The combination of moisturizing and absorbent properties* promotes autolytic debridement and wound healing in a moist environment**.
The applicator ensures controlled, simple, and aseptic application, allowing for single-hand use. The gel can be removed by rinsing.
The viscous consistency of the gel makes it easier to stay in the position where it is applied; even after absorbing exudate and tissue fragments, the gel remains cohesive, preventing leaks and maceration.
Purilon gel hydrates necrotic tissue and absorbs excess exudate, fibrin, and tissue fragments from the wound.

Composition
Purilon gel consists of purified water, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, and calcium alginate. Purilon is a very gentle gel because it is made from natural ingredients, with no additives.

Directions for use
Purilon gel is indicated for dry, necrotic fibrin wounds, as well as mixed wounds with necrotic and granulation tissue, such as lower limb ulcers, pressure ulcers, non-infected diabetic foot ulcers; it can also be used on first and second-degree burns. The gel can be used throughout the healing process to ensure an optimal moist environment. Purilon gel should be used with a secondary dressing.

Size
Available in 15 g and 25 g.
