Description
A suppository containing Hydeal-D, a hyaluronic acid derivative, which ensures its prolonged release at the application site. Hyaluronic acid is a molecule responsible for maintaining the correct level of tissue hydration, as well as playing a fundamental role in repair processes. The Hydeal-D based formulation offers optimal adhesion to the vaginal mucosa, prolonged moisturizing action and promotes the natural healing processes of micro-lesions.

Indications
Supplementary suppository for the treatment of vaginal dryness of various origins; adjuvant in the natural healing process of micro-lesions caused by friction of the vaginal mucosa.
Intended users
The product is intended for self-treatment by lay users.
Target population
The product is intended for self-treatment by women experiencing symptoms of vulvovaginal atrophy of various origins.

Instructions for use
It is recommended to use in the evening before going to bed, as follows
1. Wash hands thoroughly and ensure adequate intimate hygiene.
2. Detach a suppository from the blister, pulling along the perforation line.
3. Grasp the two plastic tabs and pull them gently, without completely opening the wrapper.
4. Gently remove the suppository from the wrapper.
5. Place the suppository on your fingertips, to prepare for insertion into the vagina.
6. Preferably in a supine position, gently insert the suppository into the vagina, trying to get as deep as possible. It is advisable to remain in a supine position, to optimize the action of the product and avoid accidental leakage.
The frequency of application depends on the condition of dryness of the vaginal mucosa. One application every three days for a period of thirty days is recommended, unless otherwise advised by the doctor. The contents of the package are sufficient to cover the treatment period. It is not necessary to interrupt treatment during menstrual flow.

Composition
Main component: Hydeal-D 0.2% (slow-release hyaluronic acid derivative).
Other components: glycerides of vegetable origin, methylpropanediol, 1,2-hexanediol, caprylyl glycol, purified water, lactic acid.
The formulation contains neither parabens nor other preservatives.

Warnings
Contraindicated in case of confirmed individual hypersensitivity to the product.

In case of vaginal infection, the use of the product is at the discretion of the doctor.
In patients with particular individual sensitivity to some component of the formulation and/or at the beginning of treatment, transient sensations of vaginal warmth or burning may occur. In case of persistent burning, it is advisable to stop treatment and consult your doctor.
In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding and use in children, consult your doctor before using the product as the safety and effectiveness of HYALO GYN in these cases have not been established.
The product can be used with lubricated and unlubricated latex, polyisoprene and polyurethane condoms.
Do not use simultaneously with vaginal products based on quaternary ammonium salts (e.g. benzalkonium chloride), which can alter hyaluronic acid.
Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged in such a way as to compromise the integrity of the blister. Do not dispose of empty containers in the environment.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
As with other suppositories used for the treatment of vaginal dryness or other alterations, whitish and odorless discharge may occur during use; these are generally visible the morning after administration and should be considered normal.

Storage
Store at a temperature between 2°C and 25°C.
Shelf life of intact packaging: 24 months.
