Rice starch, chosen from among the dozens of starch varieties found in nature because it has the greatest hygroscopic properties, absorbs a quantity of water equal to 50 times its weight on its surface. It forms an impalpable gel on the skin, to which it gradually releases the absorbed water, protecting it from dehydration and preventing and calming itching and redness.
