ANAL DILATOR

contains a thermo-accumulating gel that provides the benefits of thermotherapy or cryotherapy for various anal pathological conditions:
stenosis (narrowing) of the orifice of cicatricial or idiopathic origin;
hypertonia or sphincter spasm caused by hemorrhoids, essential proctalgia, fissure, with possible secondary constipation;
prevention of postoperative stenosis after hemorrhoid and fistula surgery.

Instructions for use:
For cryotherapy, cool the dilator to be used in the refrigerator or immerse it for 10/15 minutes in ice water. For thermotherapy, heat the dilator to be used in hot water (not exceeding 50°C) for about 10/15 minutes.
Then spread cream or lubricating ointment on the dilator. Insert the dilator slowly into the anal orifice up to its base while sitting on a bidet or lying on your side, either before or after defecation. In case of sphincter spasm, it is advisable to precede the dilation with a lukewarm-warm bidet, which has a relaxing effect on the anal sphincter muscles. The dilator should be kept in place for about one to three minutes and then slowly removed. It is advisable not to stand up or walk with the dilator inserted.
