Description
Class IIa medical device, useful for the treatment, maintenance, and physiological control of the cervicovaginal mucosa environment, to be used in all cases of temporary alteration of the vaginal microbial balance.
Vaginal tablets, indicated as an adjuvant for maintaining the physiological environment of the cervicovaginal mucosa, are useful for the prevention and treatment of cervicovaginal infections and alterations that may arise during pregnancy and which can cause premature rupture of membranes (PROM), shortening of the uterine cervix, and for the prevention of preterm birth.
It can be useful:
- as an adjuvant in the prevention of spontaneous abortion and preterm birth;
- as an adjuvant in prevention against the increased risk of abortion linked to invasive procedures such as Amniocentesis or Chorionic Villus Sampling;
- as an adjuvant treatment useful in the prevention of preterm birth in the presence of reduced cervicometry or cervicometry not corresponding to the gestational period;
- as an adjuvant in the prevention and treatment of female infertility.

Instructions for use
After thoroughly washing your hands, take a single tablet from the blister. Gently insert the tablet into the vagina, as deeply as possible. To facilitate the insertion of the vaginal tablet, it is suggested to lie in a supine position, with slightly bent legs. Treatment should be appropriately started and completed in the intermenstrual period or according to different medical indications.
- As a treatment for the maintenance and control of the physiological environment of the cervicovaginal mucosa and in particular for the prevention and treatment of cervicovaginal infections: it is recommended to use 1 vaginal tablet per day, preferably in the evening before going to bed, for 7 consecutive days or according to different medical indications.
- As an adjuvant in the prevention of spontaneous abortion and preterm birth: it is recommended to use 1 vaginal tablet per day, preferably in the evening before going to bed, for 7 consecutive days each month from the beginning of pregnancy until the thirty-seventh week, or according to different medical indications.
- As an adjuvant in prevention against the increased risk of abortion linked to invasive procedures such as Amniocentesis or Chorionic Villus Sampling: it is recommended to use 1 vaginal tablet on the day of the examination and continue with subsequent applications every 12 hours until the package is finished.
- As an adjuvant treatment useful for the prevention of preterm birth in the presence of reduced cervicometry or cervicometry not corresponding to the gestational period: it is recommended to use 1 vaginal tablet per day, preferably in the evening before going to bed, for 21 consecutive days, repeatable, until the fortieth week, or according to different medical indications.
- As an adjuvant in the prevention and treatment of female infertility: it is recommended to use 1 vaginal tablet per day, preferably in the evening before going to bed, for 7 consecutive days in repeatable cycles, or according to different medical indications.

Ingredients
Lactoferrin (300 mg), microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol, croscarmellose carboxymethylcellulose, vegetable magnesium stearate, HPMC, glycerol, silicon dioxide.

Warnings
The product is for vaginal use. Do not swallow. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility with any component of the product. May contain lactose. No studies are available regarding the use of the vaginal tablet in combination with local pharmacological therapies. The product is not intended for pediatric use. Treatment should be appropriately started and completed in the intermenstrual period or according to different medical indications. The maximum duration of continuous treatment is 30 days. Prolonged use of the product, as with all topical products, may lead to sensitization phenomena or local irritations; if this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use the product if the package is damaged or not perfectly intact upon first opening. Use the product according to the instructions for use. Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility with any component of the product. Tests performed on the product to date have not shown sensitization phenomena or other side effects. In case of persistent discomfort, consult a doctor.

Storage
Store in a dry place, away from light and heat sources. The indicated expiration date refers to the intact product, correctly stored.
Shelf life for unopened package: 36 months.
