Description
Medical device for external topical cutaneous use, indicated as an aid in the sudden keratolytic removal of hyperkeratotic skin layers and psoriatic plaques. Contains 20% salicylic acid dispersed in a highly hydrophobic vehicle, capable of immediate action.
The product is intended for use when the elimination of the superficial horny layer of hyperkeratotic areas by chemical action is appropriate, thus being useful as a treatment in preparation for cryotherapy, treatment of psoriatic plaques and localized cutaneous hyperkeratosis (calluses, corns, warts, callous plaques, ichthyosis) that are difficult to resolve in clinical practice.

How to use
Apply the product only to the affected area, in a thin layer, once a day or as directed by a doctor. Repeat the treatment for a maximum of 12-14 days; the treatment can be extended under medical supervision. If necessary, the special reducer with cap can be screwed onto the tube provided in the package.

Components
Salicylic acid 20%, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, coconut oil, microcrystalline wax, tocopherol acetate.

Warnings
External use. Do not ingest. Do not use in case of doubtful and/or known hypersensitivity to any of the components. In case of doubt, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Never use in children under three years of age. Do not use in children under 12 years of age unless directed by a doctor. In case of pregnancy and breastfeeding, use only under medical supervision. Avoid excessive or prolonged use. Do not apply to large areas of the body (>15%) for periods longer than 5 days unless directed by a doctor. The product may cause temporary local burning and irritation; if the phenomenon persists or becomes bothersome, consult your doctor. The product is contraindicated in individuals with known or suspected sensitization to salicylic acid or salicylates. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use the device after the expiry date.

Storage
Shelf life after opening: 30 days.
