VULNAMIN CREAM
Cream adjuvant in healing processes.
Vulnamin is a cream of non-animal origin that can be used as an adjuvant to facilitate the healing of wounds that cannot be sutured and that have damaged the dermis, such as chronic ulcerative wounds and pressure ulcers. It facilitates faster tissue regeneration and maintains ideal moisture conditions to promote re-epithelialization of skin lesions.
Vulnamin is an invasive medical device manufactured in accordance with Directive 93/42/EEC MDD; it is intended to aid the process of cellular reintegration to promote rapid wound healing. Thanks to its action, it promotes the reconstruction of connective tissue and the consequent regeneration of epithelial cells.
Unlike many astringent substances that cause vasoconstriction, soaps that can generally cause edema or dehydration, or alcohol rubs that can cause damage by removing fats from skin tissue, making the skin drier and more prone to chapping, Vulnamin cream promotes the elimination of necrotic tissues and protects the integrity of the skin. Keep the lesion under continuous observation. The interval between dressing changes essentially depends on the state of the wound. Initially, daily changes may be necessary. After a few days, the interval between dressing changes can be extended up to a maximum of 3 days.
Instructions for use
Apply a layer of cream proportionate to the size of the wound. On the ulcerative lesion, dress it with a frequency varying according to the size of the wound and the speed of absorption of Vulnamin.
Components
Sodium hyaluronate, glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine HCl.
Excipients.
Purified water, cetylstearyl octanoate, copolymer of acrylic acid and vinyl ester, cetyl stearyl alcohol, potassium cetyl phosphate, imidazolidinyl urea, phenoxyethanol - parabens, sodium hydroxide.
Warnings
Before performing any dressing, wash your hands thoroughly. Remove any foreign material with saline solution by spraying from the inside of the wound outwards. After cleaning the area, the wound can be dabbed with sterile gauze to remove any excess blood. If the lesion does not require further interventions, after cleaning the wound, apply Vulnamin to promote the healing process.
Known hypersensitivity to the components. No overdose phenomena are known. No interactions with drugs and medicinal substances are known. Vulnamin is a product characterized by high tolerability; however, local reactions, due to hypersensitivity phenomena, may rarely occur, which are destined to resolve spontaneously. It is nevertheless suggested to consult a doctor in case of concomitant pharmacological treatments and/or for prolonged use beyond 6 weeks.
Although no secondary effects are known in case of pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is advisable to apply only according to the doctor's judgment.
Do not use if the package appears open or damaged.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not sterilize.
External use.
Storage
Vulnamin Cream should be stored at a temperature between 8°C and 30°C. Do not store in the refrigerator. Store in a cool, dry place, away from humidity and heat sources.
