Description
Ialuset Plus (patented formula) is a healing agent indicated for the treatment of infected wounds and burns, dermatological conditions of bacterial origin or predisposed to the development of secondary infections.
How to use
After performing normal cleaning procedures, apply the cream directly to the clean and disinfected wound, forming a layer of about 2 - 3 mm, or spread the cream on a sterile gauze and then apply it to the wound. The cream should be covered with a sterile dressing, and the entire dressing can be kept in place with a suitable bandage.
It is recommended to clean the wound with saline solution before each application.
Application should be renewed every 24 hours from granulation until complete healing. The cream can be removed by simply washing with water.
The evolution of the wound or burn healing process must be assessed by a doctor. The total duration of treatment should not exceed 1 month.
Components
Hyaluronic acid (sodium salt) 0.2%, silver sulfadiazine (1%); other components: oleic acid decyl ester, cetylstearyl alcohol and sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium cetearyl sulfate macrogol, liquid sorbitol, glycerol, water.
Warnings
For external use. Do not ingest.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to sulfonamides, hyaluronic acid or any of the components.
Avoid exposing body parts treated with Ialuset Plus to the sun (due to the risk of photosensitivity). A transient discoloration of the wound bed may appear, which can be removed with a simple wash.
Adhere to appropriate methods for cleaning and disinfecting wounds, burns, and surrounding skin.
Do not ingest. Do not apply the tip of the tube directly to the wound. Close the tube tightly after each use.
The use of Ialuset Plus in combination with enzymatic detergents has not been evaluated. In patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, avoid applying the product to open wounds.
Children: Ialuset Plus should be used with caution in children over 2 years of age. The duration of treatment should not exceed 15 days without consulting a doctor.
In very rare cases, local hypersensitivity reactions such as eczema have been observed. Any serious incidents that have occurred in relation to the device must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent national authority.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice and inform them if you experience adverse reactions not listed in this leaflet.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Ialuset Plus should only be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women if strictly necessary. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
