AeroChamber Plus

WITH MASK

Valved Holding Chamber for use with metered dose inhalers, with mask for patients over 5 years of age.

Instructions for use
Before use, ensure that the AeroChamber Plus* Valved Holding Chamber ("VHC") has been cleaned according to instructions and that the information provided with the inhaler has been read.
- remove the protective cap from the inhaler mouthpiece;
- inspect the AeroChamber Plus* VHC to ensure there is nothing inside;
- insert the inhaler mouthpiece into the inhaler connector located at the back;
- hold the device firmly with the inhaler and shake vigorously 4 or 5 times. Make sure the inhaler mouthpiece inside the AeroChamber Plus* VHC is pointed directly towards the mask;
- gently place the mask on the face, ensuring a good seal around the nose and mouth;
- press the inhaler once while slowly beginning to inhale. Hold the mask firmly on the patient's face for 5-6 breaths. For best results, encourage the patient to breathe through the mouth. Exhaled air exits the mask through the exhalation valve. The FLOWSIGnal* whistle makes a sound when the patient inhales too quickly;
- wait 30 seconds before repeating steps 4-6, as prescribed.

Cleaning instructions
Clean the device only as instructed before using it for the first time and, subsequently, every week.
1- remove only the inhaler connector from the back of the device (do not remove the mask);
2- immerse both parts in warm water containing mild liquid detergent for 15 minutes. Shake gently;
3- shake the device to remove excess water. Do not rub dry;
4- let air dry in an upright position;
5- reinsert the inhaler connector when the device is completely dry.

Warnings
Do not compress all puffs into the AeroChamber Plus* VHC at once and then inhale them. Inhale one puff at a time. Do not leave unattended in the hands of children. Only disassemble the AeroChamber Plus* VHC as indicated in the cleaning instructions to avoid damaging the device. For questions about the operation or use of the device, contact your doctor, pharmacist, or trusted nurse. Clean the AeroChamber Plus* VHC only as indicated in the cleaning instructions to ensure proper functioning. Do not put in dishwasher. Do not share the AeroChamber Plus* VHC with others. The device must be used exclusively by you.

Storage
Store in a clean, dry place. The device should be replaced after 12 months of continuous use. Environmental conditions, storage methods, and frequency of use can affect the lifespan of the device.
