It is also especially useful for those engaged in intense sports activities, as it not only provides an adequate amount of readily absorbable potassium but also delivers it in an alkaline form through citrate.
This alkalizing action helps neutralize lactic acid in the muscles and facilitates its easier flow through the bloodstream.
This reduces the risk of cramps and muscle soreness.

Directions for use
Dissolving a sachet of BIOKCIT FORTE in half a glass of water creates a pleasant citrus-flavored drink.
It is recommended to take one sachet of BIOKCIT FORTE per day for adequate mineral supplementation.
For other indications (prevention of kidney stones), follow medical prescription.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
BIOKCIT FORTE is contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or conditions that may predispose to the onset of such plasma alterations.
These conditions include chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
Simultaneous intake of BIOKCIT FORTE and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could lead to hyperkalemia. Therefore, it is advisable to monitor potassium levels.
No interactions with other drugs are known. Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal heaviness, nausea, and occasionally diarrhea may develop. The tablet form may be particularly suitable for these individuals.
