Description
A medical device in gel for topical use based on galactosaminoglycan polysulphate, hyaluronic acid, and other components with high moisturizing and soothing activity, useful for restoring the physiological state of the skin, even in cases where it has been altered by peripheral circulatory disorders or by edema and hematomas.
It helps prevent and locally treat skin alterations (dystrophies, dyschromia, xerosis, desquamation, dryness), also associated with the presence of venous diseases (venous varices, phlebitis, and superficial thrombophlebitis) and moisturizes the skin in such situations.
Local treatment of edema and hematomas caused by superficial trauma and contusions.

Instructions for use
To open the tube for the first time, puncture the protective membrane using the piercer located in the upper part of the cap. Apply an appropriate amount of gel to the surface to be treated and to the surrounding areas, generally 4-6 cm of gel, massaging gently until fully absorbed. Do not use on broken skin. For treating larger areas, increase the amount of gel to 10-12 cm. Repeat the application up to 3 times a day. Close the tube carefully after each use. Continue the treatment until the symptoms disappear, progressively reducing the number of daily applications. If symptoms persist or no improvements are observed after 10 days of treatment, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Composition
Galactosaminoglycan polysulphate, sodium hyaluronate, isopropyl alcohol, 1,2 propylene glycol, carbomer, isopropyl myristate, sodium hydroxide, lavender essence, purified water.

Warnings
The product is for external use only, use only on intact skin, it should not be applied in case of bleeding, open wounds and mucous membranes, as well as on infection sites in case of suppurative processes. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components of the product. Xioglican Gel contains propylene glycol which may cause irritation. Prolonged use of topical products may lead to sensitization phenomena; should such phenomena occur, it is advisable to stop treatment and consult a doctor or pharmacist. In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding or concomitant topical therapies, use must be carried out under medical supervision. Do not use the product on children under 14 years of age. Keep the product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use the device beyond the expiry date. Do not use the product if the container appears damaged or not perfectly sealed upon first opening. If necessary, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects
No undesirable effects are expected with the use of this product. Any undesirable effects associated with the use of the device should be reported to a doctor or pharmacist.

Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging and correctly stored. The expiry date is indicated on the package.
Post-opening validity: 6 months.
