Instructions for use
Before treatment
Soak your foot or hand in warm water for 5 minutes and then carefully rub the calloused area with the file to expose the wart.
Step 1
Hold the blue end of the foam applicator (sponge) between your thumb and index finger and press until a small hole appears. Insert the hole of the foam applicator (sponge) onto the support rod until the rod is completely hidden.
Step 2
Hold the spray can upright and away from your body or hot flames, heat, direct sunlight and any electrical source. Insert the support with the foam applicator (sponge) onto the opening at the top of the spray can so that the applicator is no longer visible.
Holding the lower part of the spray can with one hand, firmly press the applicator support with the other hand for 3 seconds. A hiss will be heard during the pressure. Remove the support with the foam applicator (sponge) from the valve. At this point, the applicator is saturated with cold liquid and condensation will form. This condensation is harmless.
Step 3
After saturation of the applicator, wait 20 seconds before applying to the skin to further reduce the temperature and thus ensure better efficacy of Wartner.
Step 4
After waiting 20 seconds, place the support with the foam applicator (sponge) on the wart, applying light pressure:
- 20 seconds for hand warts;
- 40 seconds for foot warts.
Ensure constant contact between the applicator and the area to be treated. The foam applicator (sponge) must remain on the area to be treated for the necessary time. Due to freezing, a sensation of slight pain and tingling will occur. Wait two minutes after treating the wart, then use a paper tissue to remove the foam applicator (sponge) from the support. Discard the foam applicator after each use. Do not reuse the foam applicator or touch its tip with bare hands to avoid re-infecting the skin with the wart virus.
Step 5
After applying the product for 40 seconds and in case of friction in the treated area, you may experience slight discomfort. You can protect the sensitive area with a plaster. The plaster is not included in the package.
After treatment
Keep the treated area clean.
You can swim or shower.
Do not scratch or scrape the treated wart.
If necessary, protect blisters by applying a normal plaster; do not puncture blisters.
Consult your doctor if the sensation of slight pain and tingling persists or if other complications occur.

Side effects
As with all freezing methods, the skin may temporarily turn white.
It is important to use the product correctly following the instructions, as excessive exposure could damage the upper layers of the skin causing scars and/or nerve damage.
If the product is applied to healthy skin on the toes (which can happen if the sponge is applied for longer than indicated), local tissue necrosis may occur.
Some people may experience painful blisters.
After wart removal, depigmentation and/or scarring may occur.
The use of Wartner can cause minor burns due to the low freezing temperature of the product, and although these side effects have been reported, they have been relatively few.
It is very important to use Wartner correctly following the instructions for use to minimize side effects.

Warnings
The application of this product should be carried out exclusively by an adult. Do not use on children under 4 years of age. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not use if you suffer from diabetes, as the treated area may not heal as quickly or completely as in healthy individuals. Individuals with circulatory problems should consult their doctor before using Wartner.
Do not use on areas where the skin is thin or sensitive. Do not use on irritated skin or in areas where there are infections, redness or other signs of inflammation, such as itching or swelling.
Do not use on congenital moles, dark moles, pigmented skin, skin areas with hair follicles or in the presence of other abnormal skin conditions.
If you are not absolutely sure that it is actually a wart, consult your doctor.
For external use only; do not ingest or inhale, use only in adequately ventilated areas.
Wash hands (except for the treated area) immediately after use.
Use Wartner only with the special foam applicators (sponges) provided in the package.
Use a single foam applicator (sponge) for each wart and for a single application.
In case of warts on the top of the hand, move your fingers slightly during treatment.
Contact with healthy skin should be avoided so as not to be infected by the wart.
Do not apply excessive pressure when pressing the applicator onto the wart.
Do not dab the area around the wart.
The applicator should be used for a maximum of 20 seconds (common warts) and 40 seconds (plantar warts) or less, if the wart and the surrounding skin turn white.
In the presence of several warts close to each other, especially on the hand or finger, treat only one wart at a time. The remaining warts should then be treated two weeks apart.
Large and older warts are difficult to remove and often require more than one treatment with Wartner.
If more than one application is necessary, repeat the treatment after two weeks. Do not treat the same wart more than three times. If no improvement is found after three treatments, consult your doctor.
The expiry date and batch number are indicated on the packaging and on the bottom of the spray can.
DANGER. Wartner contains highly flammable substances. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, flames and other ignition sources. Do not smoke. Do not spray on a flame or incandescent material.
Do not expose to sunlight or temperatures above 50 °C.
Pressurized container: if placed near a heat source, it could explode.
Do not pierce or burn the container, even after use. Use the product in a well-ventilated place and at least 1 meter away from fire, flames, incandescent material, electrostatic and electrical sources including lights. Do not keep lit cigarettes nearby.
Keep out of reach of children.
The spray can can only be disposed of with household waste if completely empty. Otherwise, it must be disposed of as special waste.
Avoid excessive filing of the wart as this may lead to the appearance of small bruises or bleeding.
Do not share the file with other people as warts are very contagious.

Storage
Store in a safe place at room temperature.

Format
The kit contains:
- a spray can containing a mixture of dimethylether and propane, substances harmless to the environment;
- 1 reusable plastic support on which the foam applicators (sponges) are inserted;
- 12 disposable foam applicators (sponges) for a maximum of 12 treatments;
- the package leaflet.
