Description
CE Medical Device, class IIa, based on vitamin A. Sterile ophthalmic ointment based on vitamin A without preservatives. Thanks to its particular composition, it is easily applied to the ocular surface. VitA-POS protects the ocular surface and stabilizes the tear film. The vitamin A it contains is a natural constituent of the tear film, which promotes good tolerability of the ophthalmic ointment and ensures complete mixing with tears. It relieves the sensation of burning, dryness, or tired eyes. Finally, it facilitates the sliding of the eyelids over the corneal and conjunctival surface.

Instructions for use
Ophthalmic ointments should be used avoiding contact of the dispenser nozzle with the eye or skin. Unscrew the cap covering the dispenser nozzle. The cap is sealed with a white ring that ensures the integrity of the tube before first use and therefore guarantees its safety. Use VitA-POS only if the sealing ring on the tube is intact before first use. Upon first opening, the cap is separated from the white sealing ring. Please remove the sealing ring from the tube before the first application of the ophthalmic ointment. Tilt your head slightly backward, gently pull down the lower eyelid of the eye, and, with a slight squeeze of the tube, spread a thin strip of ointment into the conjunctival sac. Slowly close your eyelids. Carefully recap the tube after use. The frequency of use depends on your habits and personal needs. VitA-POS can be used in addition to lubricating eye drops and is generally applied once a day in the evening before going to sleep. For more frequent use of VitA-POS, consult your doctor. There are no foreseen limits to the duration of treatment.

Warnings
VitA-POS should not be used in cases of confirmed individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. Using the product during the day causes a slight alteration of vision due to the oily consistency of the ointment. In this case, you should therefore avoid driving, operating machinery, or working without a stable base.
VitA-POS should not be used when wearing contact lenses. VitA-POS should not be used concomitantly with other ophthalmic pharmaceutical products. In these cases, VitA-POS should be used at least 30 minutes after the application of other medicinal products in the eye. To dispense the ointment, apply slight pressure to the tube without bending or rolling it. Based on current knowledge, VitA-POS can also be used in children, pregnant women, or during breastfeeding. Use one package of VitA-POS per individual. Keep VitA-POS out of the reach of children.
Do not use VitA-POS after the expiry date.

Store at room temperature (15-25°C).
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
Shelf life after first opening: 6 months.
