Adjuvant treatment for the reparative processes of the ano-rectal canal after proctological surgery, internal and external hemorrhoids, proctitis, cryptitis, anal fissures, fissures, perianal fistulas.
Its activity is due to the presence of white petroleum jelly, liquid paraffin, and hyaluronic acid which, thanks to their ability to retain water, create a moist environment that hydrates, accelerates, and improves the natural process of re-epithelialization and tissue repair.

Instructions for use
Adults and children: apply twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, if possible after a bowel movement.
Wash hands before and after using the medical device.
Break the seal of the tube with the back of the cap. Apply an adequate amount of product depending on the area to be treated with a light massage. Close the tube with the cap.
Any intra-rectal application is facilitated by the specific cannula included in the package.
Screw the cannula onto the tube. Remove the cap from the cannula. Squeeze the tube until the ointment comes out of the holes in the cannula. Insert the cannula into the anal cavity and squeeze the tube again to release some ointment. After use, clean the cannula and cover it with the protective cap.
It is recommended to use the medical device for personal use only.
If necessary, PROKTIS-M PLUS rectal ointment can be used for prolonged periods; however, after 30 days of continuous use, suspend the treatment for one week.

Components
White petroleum jelly and liquid paraffin (953 mg/g), hyaluronic acid sodium salt (0.1 mg/g), propylene glycol, laureth-9, escin beta-sitosterol phytosome, glycyrrhetinic acid phytosome, BHT.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not swallow.
In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, specific clinical studies have not been carried out, consult your doctor before using the device.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product components.
No interactions with other products are known, therefore it is advisable to consult your doctor before using PROKTIS-M PLUS rectal ointment in combination with other medical devices or drugs for rectal use.
The use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products could lead to sensitization phenomena. In such cases, or if other undesirable effects are observed, stop the treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
After the first opening, do not use the product if there are visible signs of degradation such as yellowing or an unpleasant odor.

Storage
Keep tightly closed, away from light and heat.
The expiry date refers to the product in an intact package, correctly stored. Do not use beyond the expiry date or if the package is open or damaged.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
