Do not use test strips after the expiration date (printed on the vial label) or after the disposal date, whichever comes first. Avoid getting dirt, food, or liquids on the test strip. You can touch the test strip anywhere with clean, dry hands. Do not bend, cut, or alter the test strips in any way. Test strips are for single use only. Never reuse a test strip on which blood or control solution has been applied. Before testing, ensure that the meter and test strips are at approximately the same temperature.
