Test strips for blood glucose measurement to be used with the Bayer Contour XT, Contour Next, Contour Next USB and Contour Next Link devices.
They use a small amount of blood (0.6 µL) which is automatically drawn by capillary action into the reactive tip of the strip: after a 5-second countdown, the glucose concentration in the blood sample automatically appears on the display. The glucose in the blood sample reacts with the FAD glucose dehydrogenase (FAD-GDH) enzyme and the mediator, generating a flow of electrons that produces a current proportional to the glucose concentration in the sample. CONTOUR NEXT strips allow glucose determination in both capillary whole blood and venous blood.

Non-reactive substances 25% w/w.

At room temperature (0°-30°C).
