Preparation:
- Use a flat, dry surface.
- Clean and dry your hands.
- Open the Membrane Unit packaging and place it on the holder.
- Place bottle 1 on the red holder.
- Remove the cap and place it nearby.
Blood collection:
- Rub hands and fingers to increase blood flow.
- Twist and remove the lancet tip.
- Place the lancet sideways on the fingertip and press firmly until you hear a click.
- Rub your finger to obtain a generous drop of blood.
- Position the pipette tip at an oblique angle to the drop of blood.
- Collect blood up to the black line.
- Immediately insert the pipette into bottle 1 and squeeze the blood into it.
- Close bottle 1.
- Apply the plaster to your finger to stop the blood flow.
Test and results:
- Shake bottle 1 four times and pour all the liquid into the holder with the membrane.
- Shake bottle 2 four times and pour all the liquid into it.
- Take bottle 3 and, without shaking it, pour all the liquid into it.
- Read the results within 5 minutes.
