Description
Nasal kit that allows, thanks to the RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER device, the nebulization of RINOREX FLU DOCCIA, a hypertonic saline solution with controlled pH and N-acetylcysteine.
RINOREX FLU DOCCIA, thanks to its osmotic action, promotes mucociliary transport. It is indicated for all rhinopharyngeal affections characterized by congestion and alteration of mucociliary clearance. It helps to keep the nose clear, reduces dryness by gently hydrating its surface. It helps to regulate nasal secretions and prevent the formation and buildup of bacterial biofilm.
Indicated exclusively for inhalation therapy of the upper respiratory tract.
RINOREX FLU DOCCIA can be used to dilute medicines; in this case, strictly follow the instructions on the medicine packaging to be diluted.
Thanks to its specially designed shape, it fits ergonomically into the nostrils of children and adults.

Instructions for use
Irrigate with RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER half a vial per nostril 1-2 times a day or more often, as needed or according to medical advice.

Direct irrigation
Detach a single-dose vial and open it by twisting the vial cap. Remove the plunger from the syringe and empty the vial into it. Reinsert the plunger, expelling the air.
In children (depending on their cooperation level), washes should be performed lying on one side, with the head tilted to one side and gently inserting the tip of the RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER dispenser into the upper nostril. Push firmly on the syringe plunger to nebulize the solution.
In older children and adults, insert the tip of the RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER dispenser into one nostril, keeping the torso upright and without tilting the head. Inhale and simultaneously push firmly on the syringe plunger to nebulize the solution.
Release the syringe plunger before exhaling. Repeat the previous step for the other nostril, trying to distribute the solution equally between the two nostrils.
Before storing the kit, rinse the RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER under running water.

Inhalation therapy
RINOREX FLU DOCCIA vials can also be used for inhalation therapy of the upper respiratory tract: in this case, the use of nasal showers as inhalation devices is necessary.

Components
Each vial of RINOREX FLU DOCCIA contains: aqua, sodium chloride, acetyl cysteine, sodium bicarbonate, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, potassium sorbate, sodium dehydroacetate, disodium EDTA, Mentha aroma.

Warnings
Use the product for inhalation therapy only for the upper respiratory tract.
Do not use in children under 2 years of age. Keep out of reach and sight of children to avoid improper use of the product.
Warning: this product contains small parts that could be swallowed.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Not for oral use. Not injectable.
The vial is single-dose, not reclosable and not reusable once opened.
RINOREX FLU DOCCIA NASALE, once the vial is opened, has a sulphurous odor that is characteristic of the product.
Do not use in case of ongoing and/or recently concluded epistaxis, nor in case of damaged nasal mucosa. In some cases, nebulization may cause a slight and transient feeling of local irritation.
RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER is intended for a single patient, but can be reused for multiple nebulizations. Clean RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER before each use.
Nasal shower devices should ensure irrigation only of the upper respiratory tract; if the product were to be inhaled into the lower respiratory tract, it could cause bronchospasms in patients with bronchial asthma; in this case, immediately stop the treatment and consult a doctor.
Due to the presence of NAC, it is advisable to use glass and plastic devices as NAC can chemically react with certain materials (rubber, iron, copper).
The use of RINOREX FLU DOCCIA NASALE KIT by children or dependent persons must be under the supervision of an adult who has read the instructions for use.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product components.
Do not use beyond the expiry date or if the package is open or damaged.
Do not use in case of accidental contamination after opening.
Failure to correctly observe the warnings and instructions for use could compromise the product's effectiveness or lead to an aggravation of existing problems, as well as cause new problems to arise.
Prolonged use may lead to sensitization phenomena: if this occurs, stop treatment and consult a doctor to establish appropriate therapy.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the product components.
If undesirable effects are observed, described or not in the leaflet, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage
Store at a temperature between 5 °C and 25 °C.
The indicated expiry date refers to the product intact and correctly stored.
Shelf life after opening: 6 months.

Format
The kit contains:
- RINOREX FLU DOCCIA: 10 vials of 10 ml;
- RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER: medical device for nebulization, including a nasal dispenser and a 5 ml non-sterile Luer Lock syringe.
