SCLERAL IONIC

Description
Soft therapeutic contact lens for ocular bandage with 16.5 mm diameter (ionic material G-72 HW H2O 72%) in buffered saline solution with Aloe vera. The lens is compatible with eye drops used in post-operative therapy.
The REGENERA therapeutic contact lens can only be used under strict indication from a doctor and trusted optician. REGENERA therapeutic lens has no refractive function, and two models have been developed: REGENERA therapeutic CORNEAL lens to facilitate corneal re-epithelialization after refractive surgery or in cases of abrasions and trauma to the corneal surface; REGENERA therapeutic SCLERAL lens as an ocular bandage after surgery or in pathological conditions requiring limbal coverage, for broader protection of the ocular surface. The ionicity of the material allows for better interaction with the tear film and optimal passage of eye drops through the lens. The Aloe vera solution in which the lens is soaked has a soothing and anti-inflammatory action, as well as promoting the re-epithelialization process.

Instructions for use
Regenera Therapeutic Lenses should be applied like normal contact lenses. They can be worn continuously for a cumulative period not exceeding 30 days.

Warnings
Never use expired contact lenses; use only eye drops compatible with contact lens use, some ocular medications may compromise lens tolerability; some medications (antihistamines, decongestants, diuretics, muscle relaxants, tranquilizers, and those for motion sickness) can cause dry eyes, increasing sensitivity to lenses and blurring vision; some medications can alter sensitivity to lenses but also vision quality; do not use sprays or aerosols when wearing lenses; the REGENERA therapeutic lens is not recommended for individuals sensitive or intolerant to distilled aloe vera water due to the presence of this additive in the final product's storage solution.

Storage
Store at room temperature (20°-30° C).
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
