Description
CE Medical Device (Dir. 93/42/EEC) Class IIa.
Indicated in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux to reduce related symptoms such as: reflux esophagitis, acid regurgitation, heartburn, heartburn in pregnancy, indigestion associated with reflux of gastric contents, cough and rhinopharyngeal inflammation. It can be used during continuous treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as primary prophylaxis of NSAID gastropathy.
Ingredients
Magnesium alginate, sodium hyaluronate, simethicone, xanthan gum, banana flavor, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate sodium salt, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, citric acid, fructose, water.
Gluten-free.
Directions for use
Take at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking medication or other oral products to avoid interfering with their absorption. Shake before use. Open the sachet and ingest its content directly by pressing with your fingers from the bottom to the top. Wash your hands before using the medical device.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years: take the content of one sachet after main meals and at bedtime, or as prescribed by a doctor. The duration of use depends on the evolution of symptoms; if necessary, it can be used for prolonged periods.
Warnings
In case of sugar intolerance, consult your doctor before taking the product. It is recommended to consult your doctor before using the product in combination with drugs or other oral products. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes.
The medical device is usually well tolerated as its mechanism of action is physical/mechanical and does not depend on systemic absorption. This medical device contains methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, which can cause allergic reactions, even delayed ones. If you experience any side effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Some components of the product may interact with the activity of drugs and other oral products, interfering with their absorption.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat.
Shelf life when unopened: 36 months.
