Medical device for chronic constipation in adults and children.
Macrogol is neither absorbed nor fermented in the intestine, does not irritate the mucous membrane, and is eliminated in the feces. In fact, thanks to its affinity with water, through osmotic action, it softens the feces, facilitating evacuation without causing cramps, abdominal pain, or emergency conditions. Its effectiveness is not reduced over time.
Furthermore, the simethicone present in the formulation, thanks to its antifoaming action, is effective in absorbing gastrointestinal gas associated with constipation.

Directions for use
Children aged 1 to 6 years: 1 sachet per day.
Adults and children aged 6 years and older: 2 sachets per day.
It is recommended to take the product between meals. If conditions still persist after taking the product, it is advisable to consult a doctor. Take the product directly from the sachet or dilute the product in a little water first.

Components
Macrogol 4,000, simethicone; excipients: water, sucralose, orange flavor, vegetable glycerin, polysorbate 80, sucrose esters, potassium sorbate.

Warnings
Do not take Redipeg in case of:
- intestinal stenosis;
- intestinal perforation;
- irritable bowel syndrome (e.g., Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis).
Do not take in case of intestinal obstruction.
There is no experience with use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so it is advisable to take Redipeg only when necessary on medical advice. In patients with renal impairment, no dosage adjustment is necessary. The duration of treatment with Redipeg should not exceed 2 weeks. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated. Prolonged use may be necessary in cases of refractory and/or chronic constipation. This type of refractory constipation can be caused by medications, pain relievers (opioids) and medications for the treatment of Parkinson's disease (anticholinergics), or occur in cases of diseases such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease.
Gastrointestinal disturbances, borborygmi, abdominal pain, nausea, and mild diarrhea may sometimes occur (especially at the beginning). Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions (rash and urticaria) may occur. However, if intolerance or other side effects occur, immediately discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
When ingested concomitantly with other drugs, Redipeg could modify their bioavailability. In particular, the osmotic power of macrogol and the increased speed of induced gastrointestinal transit can negatively affect their effectiveness. Therefore, the product should be taken at least 2 hours after the administration of orally taken drugs or food supplements. In any case, consult your doctor before taking Redipeg if you are undergoing other therapies.
Do not use if the sachet is damaged.

Do not use the product after the expiration date.
In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, take the product only if necessary and after consulting a doctor. During treatment with Redipeg, it is advisable to follow an adequate diet and take oral rehydration solutions (ORS) to prevent dehydration.
It is also advisable to consult your doctor. Do not use Redipeg for more than 30 consecutive days; if symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Do not take in case of intolerance to the product. Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to the components and polyethylene glycol. Each sachet is for single use only and must be opened only at the time of use. Simethicone can interfere with the effect of some reagents used in diagnostics, such as guaiac gum.

Storage
Store Redipeg in a dry place away from heat sources or direct light.
Open the sachet only when in use.
Keep the device at a temperature between 15 °C and 25 °C.
