Adjuvant treatment for the reparative processes of the ano-rectal canal after proctological surgery, internal and external hemorrhoids, proctitis, cryptitis, anal fissures, fistulas.
It exerts its activity thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid, a mucopolysaccharide abundantly distributed in many body tissues. Hyaluronic acid, thanks to its ability to retain water, forms a film that moisturizes, accelerates and improves the process of re-epithelialization and tissue repair.

Instructions for use
Wash hands before and after using the medical device.
Detach a suppository from the blister along the pre-cut line. Remove the suppository by pulling the two tabs of the blister. Insert the suppository rectally.

Adults: use one suppository daily or as prescribed by a doctor, preferably in the evening before bedtime.
Avoid holding the suppository between your fingers for too long, as it may melt.
The duration of use depends on the evolution of symptoms. If necessary, PROKTIS-M suppositories can be used for prolonged periods; in any case, after 30 days of continuous use, suspend treatment for one week.

Components
Sodium hyaluronate (5 mg), Centella asiatica lipophilic extract, calendula lipophilic extract, aloe vera lipophilic extract, melaleuca essential oil, semi-synthetic glycerides, BHT.

Warnings
The product is for rectal use only.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not swallow.
In case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, as specific clinical studies have not been conducted, consult your doctor before using the device.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components.
The use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products could lead to sensitization phenomena. In such cases, or if other undesirable effects are encountered, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
No interactions with other products are known; therefore, it is advisable to consult your doctor before using PROKTIS-M suppositories in combination with other medical devices or drugs for rectal use.

Storage
Store away from light and heat, preferably at a temperature between 4 °C and 25 °C. Avoid temperatures above 30 °C.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored.
Do not use beyond the expiry date or if the package is open or damaged.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
