Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of adults with disorders caused by chronic inflammatory processes of the respiratory mucosa, particularly when caused by Recurrent Respiratory Infections (RRI).
Ingredients
Palmitoylethanolamide, active lactic yeasts typed kluyver B0399 (Kluyveromyces F.M. B0399), colostrum, phenylalanine, vitamin C.
Directions for use
Children and adults (age > 10 years).
1 sachet per day for children aged 11 to 16 years (31 to 40 kg body weight).
2 sachets per day for adults over 16 years of age (body weight over 40 kg).
It should be taken on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning and evening (if only one administration per day, it is preferable to take the product in the morning).
Dietary treatment with the product, especially during the winter and seasonal changes, is recommended for 10 consecutive days per month, to be repeated for at least 4 consecutive months.
In the first month, it is advisable to extend the treatment up to 20 consecutive days.
Dietary treatment is also indicated in the presence of respiratory infections and in conjunction with any antibiotic therapy.
Liquid-dispersible sachets: pour the content of the sachet into a glass or tea cup, add the desired amount of water, even warm (temperature below 40° C), stir thoroughly and swallow.
Warnings
The product must be used under medical supervision.
It is not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition.
The product is intended for children and adults over 10 years of age, or with a body weight over 30 kg.
It must not be used by individuals suffering from phenylketonuria.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
The product is not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
The use of the product during pregnancy is not recommended.
Storage
Store the product in a cool place (T <25°C), dry and away from light.
The expiry date refers to the product unopened and stored correctly.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months.
