Description
This is a food for special medical purposes, based on a specially balanced mixture of carbohydrates, mineral salts, fibers (FOS and XOS) and zinc, indicated for the dietary treatment of subjects suffering from alterations in fluid and electrolyte balance due to acute diarrhea, vomiting or other situations that may lead to increased loss of these elements.

Ingredients
Dextrose, maltodextrins, sodium chloride, potassium citrate, sodium citrate; prebiotic fibers: fructo-oligosaccharides, xylo-oligosaccharides; flavor; sweetener: acesulfame K; zinc citrate.

Gluten-free.

Directions for use
Dilute one sachet in 100 ml of water, preferably cold.
Children: it is recommended to take 100 ml of solution per kg of body weight within 4/6 hours ad libitum or as advised by a doctor. At the end of this rapid rehydration period, take Prereid as needed or as directed by a doctor.
Adults: it is recommended to take 1-2 liters of solution per day.

Warnings
The product must be used under medical advice and supervision.
It is not intended as the sole source of nutrition and should not be administered parenterally.
In case of vomiting, take in small, repeated doses over time.
Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in an intact package.
Minimum storage term from the production date, in intact packaging: 24 months.
