Description
Medical device for ophthalmic use based on dry perilla extract in combination with hyaluronic acid.
Sterile, antioxidant, hydrating and lubricating eye drops.
The dry extract of Perilla frutescens, thanks to the presence of polyphenols, performs an antioxidant action that counteracts redness and irritation caused by oxidative stress due to unfavorable external factors, while hyaluronic acid, a highly biocompatible polymer, stabilizes and replenishes the aqueous layer of the tear film thanks to its lubricating and hydrating action.
The PERFLO DROPS formula is indicated for:
- relieving and counteracting temporary sensations of eye discomfort such as redness, dryness, foreign body sensations caused by unfavorable atmospheric and environmental conditions (air conditioning, dry climate, heating systems, wind, pollution, dust, smoke, allergens);
- relieving eye strain from visual stress such as a long period of driving or studying, or from prolonged use of electronic devices (TV, smartphones, computers) and/or contact lenses, or from excessive exposure to light;
- relieving the sensation of occasional dry eye related to ongoing blepharitis, and facilitating the removal and elimination of any secretions;
- relieving allergic conjunctivitis and facilitating the removal and elimination of any secretions. PERFLO DROPS can be administered before application and during contact lens wear to improve application and comfort.

Directions for use
Instill 2-3 drops per eye, 2-3 times a day or as directed by a doctor.

Components
Perilla dry extract (standardized to polyphenols >2.5%) 0.1%, hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.25%, sodium chloride, anhydrous dibasic sodium phosphate, monobasic monohydrate sodium phosphate, purified water.

Preservative-free.

Warnings
The product is for ophthalmic use only. Once opened, the single-dose vial can be reclosed with the appropriate cap, but the solution contained must be used within 12 hours. Do not use the product if the aluminum pouch is damaged or if the vials are not perfectly intact. Keep out of reach of children. Before opening the vial to administer the drops, it is advisable to wash hands thoroughly. During instillation, do not touch the eye or other surfaces with the dispensing tip of the vial. Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even a single component of the formulation. If necessary, check with your optician for the compatibility of the eye drops with the contact lenses used. In case of discomfort during use, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. Any administration of ophthalmic drugs should be carried out at least 15 minutes after the instillation of eye drops, particularly if they are products containing benzalkonium chloride, or other quaternary ammonium salts, to avoid the precipitation of hyaluronic acid. The administration of ophthalmic drugs concurrently with eye drops should be carried out under the supervision of a doctor who can evaluate possible interactions. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.

Storage
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources, and direct sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Shelf life after opening: 24 months.
