Tissue neuroinflammation is a biological process that, in pediatric age, due to neuro-immune immaturity, can become uncontrolled, altering the normal development of tissues, including the peripheral and/or central nervous system. The clinical manifestations of neuroinflammation in pediatric age depend on the affected body district and predispose the subject to recurrent respiratory system syndromes and dermo-epidermal manifestations (dermatitis of various etiologies).
In such conditions, the body, subjected to recurrent neuroinflammatory phenomena caused by exposure to multiple factors (viruses, bacteria, allergens, stress situations, hormones, etc.), tends to deplete its capacity to synthesize endogenous palmitoylethanolamide, a natural substance also present in breast milk, with strong protective properties that promote the function of the nervous and immune systems.
Palmitoylethanolamide, present in paidinil chewable tablets in ultra-micronized form (PEA-um), has been shown to control neuroinflammation of various tissues, including respiratory and mucocutaneous tissue.
It is to be used under medical supervision, for the dietary management, in situations of uncontrolled neuroinflammation, in pediatric patients over 7 years of age with:
1. Recurrent respiratory system syndromes:
- Recurrent respiratory infections
- Allergic-inflammatory states
2. Dermo-epidermal manifestations (dermatitis of various etiologies).
Gluten-free and lactose-free.
Instructions for use
It must be used under medical supervision by pediatric patients over 7 years of age. As a general guideline, it is recommended to take 1 chewable tablet 1-2 times a day, preferably after meals, for cycles of 30-60 days, according to medical advice. The tablet should be chewed to facilitate swallowing; it can also be crushed and mixed with semi-liquid foods (creams, purees, smoothies, yogurt,..).
Warnings
Use under medical supervision. The product cannot be the sole source of nourishment. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. It is not recommended for use in children under 7 years of age or with swallowing difficulties.
