The presence of citicoline in OMK2 provides useful and favorable structural support in restoring the integrity of cell membranes damaged by degenerative ophthalmic diseases (e.g., glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy). Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) finally promotes the growth of corneal epithelial cells, protects cells from free radical damage, and is an important element for maintaining proper ocular surface function.\u003cbr\u003e The wetting and protective properties of OMK2 provide ocular relief in cases of irritation, burning, and foreign body sensation due to environmental factors or prolonged use of a VDU.
