Description
Food for special medical purposes for the dietary treatment of sarcopenia and as a module to supplement protein intake in patients on artificial nutrition. The product can be administered orally or via nasogastric tube and/or PEG.
The bovine milk proteins used come from whey treated with combined ultrafiltration and microfiltration techniques. The resulting concentrated proteins undergo the spray-dry process and are made soluble with lecithin (E 322). The final product is a powder containing about 92% protein on a dry basis, with reduced lactose (<0.5%) and fat (including cholesterol) content.

Directions for use
ORAL USE
According to medical instructions, dissolve the contents of one or two sachets in 150/200 ml of water (the solution will have a neutral taste) or another beverage at room temperature and drink immediately. It is important that the liquid in which the powder is dissolved is not hot, as heat can denature the proteins and compromise the product's chemical-physical characteristics.
TUBE AND/OR PEG USE
Dilute one or more sachets of Oloprotein H according to medical prescription in 200/250 ml of water and administer in a bolus via nasogastric tube or PEG. The solution can also be added to a nutritional bag and administered via a peristaltic pump, provided it is alone and without the addition of other nutrients.

Warnings
Must be used only under medical supervision. Oloprotein H is an nutritionally incomplete food and cannot be used as the sole nutritional source. The product may pose health risks if consumed by individuals who do not have the disease, disorder, or medical condition it is intended to address.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
