Nutramigen 2
LGG
Description
A nutritionally complete formula based on extensively hydrolyzed casein, designed to meet the daily needs of infants with cow's milk protein allergy. It is the first formula for allergic infants with recommended levels of DHA (Omega 3), which promote normal visual development. Nutramigen 2 contains the probiotic LGG, a combination that aids in the dietary management of cow's milk allergy and helps return to a normal diet more quickly. The extensively hydrolyzed formula has a different taste and smell compared to standard infant formulas; therefore, the infant needs to get used to it.
Ingredients
Glucose syrup, vegetable oils (palm, coconut, soy, sunflower), extensive casein hydrolysate (from milk), modified corn starch, calcium phosphate, calcium citrate, potassium citrate, potassium chloride, oils derived from unicellular organisms (ARA from Mortierella alpina and DHA from Crypthecodinium cohnii), L-cystine, choline chloride, sodium L-ascorbate, L-tyrosine, inositol, L-tryptophan, ferrous sulfate, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG culture (0.034%), taurine, zinc sulfate, L-carnitine, nicotinamide, DL-alpha-tocopherol acetate, ascorbyl palmitate, ascorbic acid, calcium pantothenate, copper sulfate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, retinyl palmitate, riboflavin, thiamine hydrochloride, cholecalciferol, manganese sulfate, chromium chloride, sodium iodide, folic acid, sodium molybdate, phytomenadione, sodium selenite, D-biotin, cyanocobalamin.

Instructions for use
1) Wash your hands thoroughly. Wash and boil feeding bottles, teats, rings, caps, and utensils in water for 1 minute.
2) Boil more water for 1 minute and let it cool to room temperature before starting preparation. Pour the correct amount of cooled water into the feeding bottle.
3) Add the correct amount of powder to the water (see feeding table). Store the dry scoop in the can.
4) Close the feeding bottle, roll it between your hands, then shake vigorously. Check the temperature on the inside of your wrist.
After preparation, the product is subject to rapid deterioration. Administer immediately after preparation, otherwise cover and store in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-4°C for no more than 24 hours. Do not freeze the prepared formula and do not use it if it has been out of the refrigerator for more than 2 hours. Use any prepared formula that has been in contact with the infant's mouth within 1 hour and do not put the bottle back in the refrigerator. Discard any remaining product in the bottle and clean utensils thoroughly. Do not use microwave ovens to heat the prepared formula.
*Only use the scoop included in the can to measure the powder. One level, unpacked scoop (4.7 g) is added to every 30 ml of water.
Warnings
Breast milk is the ideal food for infants. If breastfeeding is not possible, Nutramigen 2 LGG is indicated for the dietary management of infants with cow's milk protein allergy and should be used under the supervision of a pediatrician. Nutramigen 2 LGG is suitable for feeding infants from birth up to 6 months of age and can be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product may frequently cause loose, greenish stools.

Proper hygiene, preparation, dilution, use, and storage are important when preparing the bottle. Powdered infant formulas are not sterile. The physician will evaluate the use of the product in appropriate cases. Failure to follow these instructions can be seriously detrimental to health. Do not administer parenterally.
