Food for special medical purposes, indicated for the dietary management of patients with renal insufficiency undergoing dialysis. A complete product, with high protein content and high caloric density, enriched with prebiotics (scFOS) to preserve intestinal function. The quantity of some nutrients has been modified to meet the nutritional needs of patients with renal insufficiency undergoing dialysis, for whom the product is intended: more folic acid, less vitamin D, no added chromium, low levels of phosphorus, potassium, sodium and calcium, a high percentage of MUFA and Omega-3 to protect the cardiovascular system, and an exclusive slow-release carbohydrate system to promote glycemic control.

Directions for use
It can be used as a sole source of nutrition or as a supplement to the patient's diet, under the supervision of a doctor. The product is ready to use. Shake well. Open the package only immediately before use.

Warnings
Do not use in individuals with galactosemia.

Storage
Once opened, the package can be stored in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours. After this time, discard any remaining product. The sealed package should be stored at room temperature.
