Folic acid, Iron, Magnesium, Niacin, Vitamins B2, B6, B12 and C contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin. Copper contributes to the normal transport of Iron in the body. Vitamin C increases Iron absorption. Folic Acid, Iron, Zinc and Vitamins B12 and D are involved in the cell division process. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption\/utilization of Calcium and Phosphorus. Calcium is involved in the process of cell division and specialization. Supplemental intake of Folic acid increases maternal folate status. A low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus.
