Description
A food for special medical purposes, containing the active form of folic acid (methylfolate) and vitamin C (ascorbic acid), in quantities necessary for correct vitamin supply in deficient subjects (subjects with MTHFR enzyme mutations) who cannot restore normal folate and homocysteine levels through diet or supplements.
Folate deficiency (hypofolatemia) and excess homocysteine (hyperhomocysteinemia) can compromise couple fertility and a positive pregnancy outcome.

Ingredients
Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid); bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agents: fatty acids, hydroxypropylcellulose, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids, cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, talc; maltodextrin, L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium (folate); colour: iron oxides and hydroxides.

Gluten-free.

Naturally lactose-free.

Directions for use
The dose should be determined by the physician based on the subject's characteristics.
1 tablet per day is recommended, preferably in the morning.
