Description
Indicated for the control and prevention of urinary tract infections (cystitis) caused by pathogens such as E. coli and other Gram-negative bacteria normally involved in the etiology of urological infections.
Monurelle Plus AF is an advanced formula based on Xyloglucan (Hemicellulose) and Gelose, which exerts a mechanical action in the intestinal lumen, preventing contact of pathogens with the intestinal mucosa, which is the first phase for their proliferation and subsequent passage to the urinary tract. Monurelle Plus AF should be taken orally when the first urinary tract symptoms appear, in order to reduce the proliferation of pathogens that can degenerate into infections. In case of recurrent infections, Monurelle Plus AF is also useful in preventing new episodes, in which pathogen proliferation causes repeated urinary tract infections.

Instructions for use
Swallow the capsule with liquids.
In patients who develop the first symptoms of urinary problems, Monurelle Plus AF should be taken orally twice a day (1 capsule every 12 hours) for 5 days.
To prevent recurrence, take one capsule daily for at least 15 consecutive days per month.
If necessary, the treatment can be repeated.
This medical device is intended for use in adult patients.

Components
Xyloglucan, gelose, propolis, Hibiscus sabdariffa, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (vegetable origin) and corn starch.

Gluten-free and lactose-free.

Warnings
- The diagnosis of urinary tract infection (UTI) must be made by a physician.
If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, consult your doctor.
- An acute urinary tract infection may require treatment with antibiotics.
This product does not have bactericidal or bacteriostatic properties and, therefore, cannot replace antibiotic treatment.
However, Monurelle Plus AF can be taken concomitantly with the antibiotic.
- It is recommended not to use the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless otherwise indicated by a healthcare professional.
- Do not take the product after the expiration date printed on the package.
- Do not take the product if the blister is open or damaged.
- Keep the product out of reach of children.

Storage
Store at a temperature between 2 °C and 25 °C.
Do not freeze.
Shelf life of intact packaging: 36 months.
