Description
Topical gel for the treatment of molluscum contagiosum.
Indicated for the treatment of molluscum contagiosum, a viral infection caused by the Molluscipox Virus. The product, based on a 10% potassium hydroxide gel (caustic potash), works by dissolving virus-infected cells, generating an inflammatory response whose resolution leads to the disappearance of the virus itself. A preventive diagnosis for the presence of the molluscum contagiosum virus must always be performed before treatment with Molluskin 10.

Instructions for use
Apply a thin layer of gel to the molluscum contagiosum papules 1-2 times a day or as directed by a doctor, using the special spatula. The application should be performed on the molluscum, not on the surrounding healthy skin. Wait one or two minutes for the gel to dry completely. Re-immerse the spatula in the bottle after treating 3-5 papules. Ensure that all present papules are covered during application.

Components
10% aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide, gelling agent (Sepiplus S) (CORROSIVE ALKALINE SOLUTION).

Warnings
The product contains a potentially corrosive alkaline agent (caustic potash) and therefore it is highly recommended to carefully avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, wounds, and broken skin. If the product comes into contact with eyes or unaffected skin areas, rinse thoroughly with running water for at least 15 minutes and then consult a doctor.
In particular, pay attention to:
- always keeping the bottle in an upright position;
- ensuring no excess gel is on the spatula, by wiping it on the inner surface of the bottle opening if necessary;
- always keeping Molluskin 10 tightly closed and out of reach of children.
For external use. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes.

Storage
Store away from heat sources.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 4 weeks.
