Description
Metarecod is a medical device useful for the treatment of metabolic syndrome and the rebalancing of altered metabolic parameters such as cholesterol levels, triglycerides, glucose, and abdominal circumference values.
Metarecod, thanks to all the components of its formulation, acts by modifying the physical characteristics of the intestinal content, diluting the concentration of fats and carbohydrates, and in particular:
- making the absorption of these substances more gradual (retard effect), while also reducing the total amount absorbed;
- rebalancing the intestinal flora, useful for a faster and more stable improvement of metabolic functions;
- normalizing intestinal transit, which further promotes the elimination of fats (cholesterol and triglycerides) and carbohydrates (including glucose).
In addition, the product reduces the reabsorption of bile acids, helping to rebalance circulating cholesterol levels, and, thanks to its viscosity, it interposes itself between the intestinal content (rich in fats as well as any irritants) and the mucosa, promoting its protection.
All this promotes a better use of nutrients by the liver, promoting the readjustment of blood sugar, cholesterolemia, triglyceridemia and a decrease in abdominal circumference. The use of the product must be accompanied by a healthy lifestyle that includes a balanced diet and regular physical activity.
Metarecod is a 100% natural and biodegradable medical device, it does not contain synthetic, semi-synthetic or genetically modified substances.
Indicated in case of:
- LDL cholesterol levels ≥100 mg/dl or HDL cholesterol <40 mg/dl in males and <50 mg/dl in females;
- triglyceride levels ≥150 mg/dl;
- fasting glucose levels <100 mg/dl (IFG) or impaired glucose tolerance (or reduced glucose tolerance) 140-199 mg/dl (IGT);
- high abdominal circumference values even in normal weight subjects (≥94 cm in males and ≥80 cm in females).

Components
Natural complex based on polysaccharide macromolecules (NeoPolicaptil* Gel Retard, 86%); natural orange and peach flavor; gum arabic; stevia leaf powder.
Gluten-free.

*NeoPolicaptil Gel Retard is a macromolecular complex resulting from Aboca research, created through a production technology that allows obtaining a 100% natural product without synthetic ingredients.

Instructions for use
Suitable for adults and children aged 8 and over.
Dissolve one sachet in half a glass of water before the two main meals. Ingest before the resulting drink forms a gel in the glass. After consumption, drink another half glass of water.
If you forget to take Metarecod before a meal, you can also take it during. The product cannot be taken directly into the mouth, it must be consumed strictly after dispersion in water.
During the first few days of use, meteorism phenomena may occur which resolve spontaneously as treatment continues.
For correct product intake by children under 12 years of age, adult supervision is recommended.
Although the first improvements occur after the first month of therapy, it is advisable to take the product for at least 3 months. However, the treatment cycle can be repeated several times during the year.

Warnings
Do not take the product in case of allergy or individual hypersensitivity to one or more of the following raw materials from which the product components are derived: Avena sativa, Opuntia Ficus Indica, Amorphophallus konjac, Althea officinalis, Linum usatissimum, Tilia platyphyllos, Cichorium intybus, Stevia rebaudiana, gum arabic.
There are no experimental data on the use of Metarecod during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, due to the nature of its components, there are no contraindications for taking the product under these conditions.
Please note that the treatment of dysglycemia, dyslipidemia, overweight and metabolic syndrome during pregnancy should be carried out under medical supervision.
It is advisable to take the product at least two hours after taking medicines to avoid a possible interaction with their absorption.
Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and protected from light.
The expiry date refers to the product in an intact and correctly stored package.
Shelf life when unopened: 36 months.
