Pregnancy Test
Description
The pregnancy test is designed for the qualitative determination of human chorionic gonadotropin in urine to help detect early pregnancy. The hormone appears about one week after fertilization and can be found in a woman's urine throughout pregnancy. The pregnancy test has a sensitivity of 25 mIU/ml and can be performed approximately 7 days after suspected conception. It is recommended to perform the test from the first day of the expected period to achieve more than 99% accuracy.
Instructions for use
Immediately before performing the test, open the foil pouch and remove the test. Remove the cap and hold the test by the middle of the handle with the absorbent tip pointing downwards directly in the urine stream for at least 2-3 seconds until it is completely wet. Then remove the test from your urine. Replace the cap over the absorbent tip and place the test on a flat surface with the test window facing upwards, then start timing. Depending on the hCG concentration, a positive result can be observed in as little as 40 seconds. However, a full reaction time of 5 minutes is required to confirm a negative result. After performing the test, dispose of the device according to local regulations. Do not read the result after 15 minutes.
If preferred, you can collect a urine sample in a clean, dry container, then immerse only the sampling tip of the test in the urine for at least 10 seconds, then remove the test from the urine sample.
If positive, two distinct red lines appear. One line appears in the control window (C) and one line in the test window (T). Even if the line in the test window (T) is lighter than the line in the control window (C), the result is positive.
If negative, one red line appears in the control window (C). No line appears in the test window.
If invalid, the control line (C) does not appear [even if the line appears in the test window (T)]. Review the procedure and repeat with a new test device. Insufficient sample level or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for the absence of the control line.
Warnings
Do not use if the foil pouch is torn or damaged.
Do not use after the expiry date.
Keep out of reach of children.
For external use.
Do not reuse.
Storage
Store the test at a temperature between 2 °C and 35 °C. Do not freeze.
Shelf life when unopened: 36 months.
Format
