When applied to the affected area, it creates a moist and aseptic environment ideal for tissue regeneration: chitosan (0.5%) forms a protective film that isolates the injured area from the outside and helps create a moist environment, while metallic silver (0.1) releases silver ions that bind to the DNA and RNA of bacteria, inhibiting their multiplication.
It is an alternative to topical antibiotic and cortisone treatments: it guarantees a significant improvement in the clinical picture just 30 minutes after application and a complete resolution of inflammation with a good increase in re-epithelialization of the treated areas.
