Sterile Lancets

Description
The lancet (to be used with the lancing device) is a sterile single-use medical device, designed for blood collection through a small finger prick to obtain capillary blood samples from the fingertip. The lancet requires the lancing device to operate.
The lancet is intended for people who need to collect capillary blood.

Instructions for use
1. Unscrew the cap of the lancing device from the rest of the device.
2. Firmly insert a sterile lancet into the lancing device.
3. Remove the protective cap from the lancet.
4. Carefully screw on the cap of the lancing device.
5. Adjust the penetration depth.
6. Place the lancing device on the side of the finger and press the release button. If blood cannot be collected, please adjust the penetration depth according to the lancing device instructions and repeat this step.
7. Apply a drop of blood to the test strip.
8. Remove the lancet from the lancing device and dispose of it in an appropriate container.
9. Place the cap of the lancing device back onto the lancing device.

Warnings
1. Read the instructions carefully before use.
2. Use the lancets within the expiration date.
3. Do not use if the protective cap has been previously removed or broken.
4. Do not leave the lancet inside the lancing device; discard the lancet after use and do not reuse.
5. The lancet is for single use only, and its reuse could lead to cross-infections and needle damage.
6. If the used needle is not recapped, it could cause cuts to another person and could lead to infections or cross-infections.
7. If the needle breaks and is embedded in the finger, please consult a healthcare professional immediately.
8. In case of adverse events, please report them to the Manufacturer and the Competent Authority.

Validity of unopened packaging: 60 months.
